|
|
Hi,
I am going to be launching a new product with clickbank soon and I am planning out my marketing campaign.
One of the big things I want is for the product to be mostly affiliate driven, as in, affiliates making most of my sales, because of this I am going to offer high commissions, lots of promotional tools and maybe even no email capture form.
The problem is getting the site to rank well in the marketplace in order to get the affiliates, when the site launches I am going to have to do all the promotion myself to get better rankings.
Could you guy's share some ways to quickly improve rankings in the marketplace?
What sort of methods do you's use to get and maintain high rankings?
Thanks a lot. |

| Another way to grow your marketplace ranking would be to open more clickbank accounts and promote your own product as an affiliate. |

1) Promote the new product with your 2nd CB account to improve the gravity.

Damian,
Are your sure Clickbank approves of that strategy? I'd make sure, because it definitely seems like something they wouldn't like.

Yes they do allow it, in fact it was a strategy recommended by Jim Edwards a couple of years back and also again by Mike Filsaime later on.
I have been doing it for quite sometime without any problem.
Account A markets Account B's product and vice versa
Cheers

Im sure if clickbank allows you to use your own affiliate link to buy products and refer yourself for new accounts. Then they shouldn't mind someone doing this.

Hey guy's,
Thanks for helping out, some good tips here.
I wonder what Clickbank's opinion is on the issue of promoting one account with another, seems a great way to boost gravity but would they take action if they found out?
So basically it just comes down to making sales and recruiting affiliates manually, slow and steady, good enough
Thanks guy's |

In case some of you still have jitters, here's what CB has replied:
My question:

Subject: Other
Questions:
If I were to open a new account as a publisher, am I able to use my current account as an affiliate to refer sales to my own product in the new account?
Thanks

CB's answer:

Yes, you are more than welcome to do that with your ClickBank account.

I realize this is a quote from an old post...
Re: | Quote: | | If I were to open a new account as a publisher, am I able to use my current account as an affiliate...(etc) |
I asked a similar question in this forum, and was led to believe this was not a good practice. Here's the thread...

It was not quite a similar question. It made no mention
of promoting one account with another.
If you don't plan to do that then I suggest
you keep to the one account.
